Answers stay in this tab

Quiz answers and calculated results are kept in this browser tab’s memory. The basic quiz does not upload them to a server, put them in a URL, or save them in local storage, session storage, a cookie, or a database. No account is created. The optional AI guide is different: it sends only a summary you select, and only after you confirm.

Moving between pages of this site, including Privacy and Terms, keeps your progress in the same tab. Refreshing or closing the tab clears it. Clear answers removes the current answers and result; it does not remove the age confirmation.

The kink list checklist works the same way: your choices stay in this tab’s memory and are not saved in local storage, session storage, a cookie, or a database, and they are never sent to analytics. Get my private link encodes your choices after the # in the link. Browsers do not send that part to our servers, but anyone you give the link to can read it, and the app you paste it into may keep it. Opening a link restores the list and then removes the choices from the address bar before page counts load; if you paste a link into a tab that is already on this site, the address may briefly include them.

Basic quiz: answers and results stay in this tab’s memory. Refreshing or closing the tab clears them.

Optional AI: select a summary, review and confirm, then choose Generate. Only that summary goes through KinkWeave’s server to the AI provider; raw answers are not included.

This is a simplified diagram. Technical requests, provider handling, logs and copies outside this tab are explained in the privacy notice.

Age confirmation

The kink quiz’s 18+ confirmation uses browser session storage for this tab. It records that the confirmation was selected, not your date of birth or identity. The browser controls the lifetime of this session storage and may restore it when restoring a browsing session.

Requests needed to run the site

Your browser requests pages, fonts, images and questions to display the site, plus the Cloudflare Web Analytics script and its page-count beacon, and the quiz-count requests, described below. The quiz request contains no answers or calculated scores. The kink quiz does not integrate advertising, payment processing or automated email. Optional Kink usage analytics is described below. If optional Rice analytics is enabled, the test may load Google Analytics after an explicit choice, described below.

Cookieless page counts

Every page loads Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate. It sets no cookies and does not use a persistent identifier. It receives the page address, referrer, browser and performance timings that any page request reveals; quiz answers, scores and results are never in page addresses, so it never receives them. This is separate from the optional Google Analytics controls below, which stay off unless you allow them. See Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Cookieless quiz counts

To know how many quizzes are started and finished, the site sends a small request to its own server when a kink quiz starts or finishes and when a Rice Purity Test starts or finishes. The request body contains only the event name, and for a kink quiz start a coarse label for where it began (home page, blog or another page); the counter does not read or keep the ordinary headers that come with every browser request. Each run is counted once. The server adds it to daily totals stored with Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine. It sets no cookies, stores no identifier, IP address or browser details, and the request never contains your answers, scores or results. This happens whether or not you allow Google Analytics, because it cannot identify or follow anyone. Like every request, it still passes through Cloudflare’s hosting infrastructure, described below.

For our own testing, opening any page with ?kw_internal=1 saves a flag in this browser’s local storage so that our visits are left out of these counts, Google Analytics and the page-count beacon; ?kw_internal=0 removes it. Visitors do not need to do anything.

Optional Kink usage analytics

When enabled, Allow basic analytics lets Google Analytics measure a homepage visit, 30 seconds of active homepage viewing, a test start, progress at 10 and 20 handled questions, completion, result viewing, save clicks, device-share invocations and successful copies. Events include a public version and fixed action labels, not answers, scores, result names, summaries, recipients, AI content, question numbers or free text. A share invocation is not proof of delivery; a save click is not proof a file was saved.

The control is separate from the age check and from Rice analytics. Declining does not affect the quiz. Allowing it after starting applies only to your next attempt. Your choice is held in memory. Turn off analytics stops future collection and clears our Kink analysis identifiers and cookies; it cannot delete events Google already received. Clear answers pauses analytics and requires a fresh choice. You can find the controls below the content on the home, quiz and result pages when enabled.

Google can process technical and session information. This is not anonymous and does not count unique people. A random client identifier is used for the current tracked memory session and changes when you restart. Kink-prefixed session cookies may last for the browser session or return when the browser restores it; quiz answers and results are never stored in those cookies. Public route addresses are fixed and exclude query strings, fragments and referrers. Automatic page views, advertising features and Google signals are disabled. This site does not promise Google keeps no technical logs.

Optional Rice visit analytics

When enabled, Rice analytics can emit five custom flow events (test start, test complete, result view, copy result, related-tool click), a public question-bank version label, and a random attempt ID after you choose Allow basic analytics on that page. Decline or ignore the control and the analytics tag is not loaded. Turning it off stops later custom events; it cannot delete events Google already received. Google Analytics can still process technical and session information. This choice is separate from the 18+ acknowledgement and from copy confirmation. You can take the test without it.

Answers, scores, question numbers, skipped or answered counts, and the live page URL or referrer are not included in those custom events. The app uses a new random client ID per attempt and session cookies scoped to the Rice page. Those cookies can last for the browser session and may return if the browser restores the session. This is not anonymous, does not count unique people, and is not a promise that Google keeps no logs. Clearing Rice answers removes the current attempt ID and our scoped analytics cookies; it also resets the Rice adult acknowledgement. It does not clear the kink quiz’s 18+ confirmation or Google’s copies of events already sent.

The public site is hosted on Cloudflare. Hosting infrastructure processes technical request information and can keep operational or security logs. Not uploading quiz answers does not mean the infrastructure produces no logs. Retention depends on the hosting service and its configuration; clearing quiz answers does not erase infrastructure logs.

See Cloudflare’s Workers logs documentation and Cloudflare’s privacy policy for the provider’s information. Those pages describe the provider, not a separate place where your quiz answers are saved.

Optional AI conversation guide

AI Reflection & Conversation Guide is optional. It does not run when the result page loads, when you open the module, or when you change options. A request is sent only after you select axes, review the preview, tick consent, confirm you are 18 or older, and click Generate my guide.

The request is a whitelist summary: selected axis IDs, descriptive scores when they exist, scored-answer counts, Unsure counts, skip counts, the quiz version, and the goal and tone you chose. It does not include raw answers, names, partner details, contact details, or unselected axes. If every selected axis is Unsure or has too few scored answers, the site shows standard questions and does not call a model.

When this feature is enabled, that summary is sent to Beijing Zhipu Huazhang Technology Co., Ltd. (智谱) through the BigModel API at open.bigmodel.cn, using the GLM-5.3-Flash model. According to the BigModel privacy policy (effective 20 May 2025), personal information collected while operating in China is stored in China, kept for the shortest period needed for the stated purposes unless a longer period is required by law, and anonymized data may be used to improve products and services, including machine learning or model training. This site does not claim that Zhipu keeps no copy, and it does not claim that prompts are excluded from training. See also the BigModel user agreement.

KinkWeave does not write answers, scores, request bodies, or generated text to a database, URL, cookie, localStorage, sessionStorage, or ordinary application logs. Short-lived rate-limit counters are stored in the operator’s Supabase Postgres project: a hashed network identifier, a count, and an expiry. They do not include quiz answers, scores, or generated text. See Supabase’s privacy policy. Hosting logs on Cloudflare can still record that the API route was requested. Clearing the quiz or the guide removes the local AI text; it does not erase Zhipu, Supabase, or hosting logs.

The optional AI guide may be temporarily unavailable. If a guide cannot be created, you can try again later or keep using the basic quiz report. Read the AI conversation guide page for the public description.

Copying, saving or sharing

Copy private note writes a summary and axis scores to your clipboard when you choose it. It does not include raw answers. A copied note, screenshot, or text pasted into another app can remain there after you clear this quiz or close the tab. Your operating system, clipboard history, browser extensions and other apps are outside this quiz’s control.

You can edit an invitation without attaching your result, or select a result summary and up to two axes. The summary includes your result name and interpretation even when no axes are selected. Images are generated and previewed in this browser; there is no image upload service. Copy, Save image and device sharing export only after you choose an action. The quiz link opens the introduction, not a stored result, and contains no result or tracking parameters. Files saved on your device or sent to another app are outside this quiz’s control and are not deleted by Clear answers. If you allow Kink analytics before starting, save clicks, share invocations and successful copy actions can be measured; the exported contents are not sent to analytics.

There is no saved-result link or account history. We cannot restore a cleared result from a server copy. This page remains available without entering the age-gated quiz.
